Adam has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC).
Adam was born outside of Glacier National Park in Montana. At the age of nine his family moved to the Duluth, Minnesota area and started a helicopter aviation business. At the age of 15 Adam took flying lessons and attained his private pilot’s license at age 16. After high school he joined the military and served in the 2nd Ranger Battalion of the U. S. Army, based in Washington state. While in the military, Adam discovered that, by counseling soldiers on their personal finances, he could make a huge impact on their lives, both personally and professionally. This realization ignited Adam’s passion for financial planning. After being injured during his service, Adam transitioned to finishing college and working in financial services in the Seattle area.
Adam first met Andy Schelitzche over 10 years ago while they were working at Waddell and Reed in the Minneapolis area. They were quick to become friends and decided that someday they would like to work together. Today, at Manifest, Adam and Andy work as independent advisors to serve families through financial planning, offering securities and advisory services through LPL Financial.
Adam, his wife Abby, and their two children live in Woodbury, Minnesota. When they aren't busy with school activities, the family enjoys skiing, hiking, and traveling. They also volunteer at non-profits and community events, focusing on causes that benefit children, animals, and veterans’ organizations.
